Claudia Guerrico

Claudia is a Registered Dietician at CORU +35387711 8850 in Ireland and a member of the Institute of Nutrition and Dietetics of Ireland.

Claudia qualified as a Dietician in her home country of Uruguay at the University of Republic where she went on to become a lecturer of nutrition during life stages.

Claudia competed a Postgraduate in Mediterranean Diet at Barcelona University in Spain and completed a Masters of Investigation on Primary Health Centres.

Claudia has extensive experience in preventative care providing education on weight management, healthy eating habits and nutritional coaching – working with individuals and in groups. She has build on a vast experience delivering dietetics and nutrition in hospitals and acute settings to patients with heart disease, digestive problems and diabetes.

She believes in working in a multidisciplinary team in order to assist clients in a holistic way.

Recently she worked as a bariatric surgery dietician developing a refeeding system to be applied after surgery.

She is also an experienced eating disorder dietician.

Claudia has written many magazine pieces and journal articles about nutrition and dietetics and has participated in radio interview and on social media.

Her consultation consist in a first addressing daily life and eating habits, identifying risks and working one to one to design personalized meal plans. Consultations also involve help with organising shopping, learning dietetic skills and improving motivation with realistic goal setting.
